Signature Furniture

Pieces with presence, proportion, and a recognizable point of view.

The Finished Look

Fresh, polished rooms that feel collected instead of decorated.

A fresh perspective on the well-dressed home.
The Point of View

The right piece can change the whole room.

McCarthy Living begins with a simple idea: beautiful rooms are rarely about adding more. They are about choosing better—better scale, better placement, better materials, and pieces with enough personality to hold their own.

A little polish. A lot of personality.

The result should feel collected, layered, comfortable, and unmistakably personal.

The McCarthy Living Collection

Designed to be noticed.
Made to be lived with.

Original pieces and entertaining accents that bring freshness, character, and polish into everyday living.

The Finished Look

Collected, layered, and never overworked.

A McCarthy Living room is polished without feeling precious. The mix matters: one strong piece, a smart edit, layered textiles, art, lighting, and details that make the space feel lived in rather than staged.

Scale

Furniture should fit the architecture, not fight it.

Personality

Every room needs something memorable.

Restraint

The best edit leaves room for the eye to rest.

Meet the Founder

Stacy McCarthy

McCarthy Living grew from Stacy’s instinct for seeing the one thing a room is missing—and her belief that homes should feel polished without losing warmth, humor, or personality.

Her approach is less about following a formula and more about recognizing what gives a room presence: proportion, color, a distinctive piece of furniture, and the final details that pull everything together.

Company

A home brand with a point of view.

McCarthy Living sits at the intersection of original furniture, room curation, and everyday entertaining—focused on the part of home design people remember most: the finished look.

What We Believe

Beautiful should still feel livable.

The best rooms have polish, but they also have ease. They are layered without feeling busy, tailored without feeling stiff, and distinctive without trying too hard.

That balance shapes every McCarthy Living decision—from the curve of a console to the scale of a lamp, the placement of art, the finish on a table, and the objects left on top when the styling is done.

The McCarthy Living Standard

Fresh. Fun. Refined.

Fresh

Light on its feet.

Bright rooms, crisp finishes, natural light, and choices that feel current without chasing trends.

Fun

Personality matters.

Color, wit, entertaining, and one unexpected detail keep a beautiful room from taking itself too seriously.

Refined

Details do the work.

Scale, craftsmanship, restraint, and a thoughtful final edit are what make a room feel expensive and complete.

Why Furniture Comes First

The piece is the personality.

McCarthy Living is increasingly product-led because the furniture is where the point of view becomes tangible. A console, sideboard, dining table, or entertaining piece can become the anchor that the rest of the room responds to.

The Final Layer

Details that make the room

Lighting, art, books, flowers, textiles, and objects are edited with the same attention to scale as the furniture itself.

The Collection

More pieces are in development.

Console tables, storage, dining pieces, entertaining accessories, and sculptural objects designed around the McCarthy Living point of view.

Services

A fresh eye. The right pieces. A finished room.

McCarthy Living is not positioned as a conventional whole-house interior design firm. The service is focused on curation, furniture, room finishing, and helping a space become more intentional.

01

In-Home Consultation

A focused visit to assess the room, identify what is working, what is missing, and which changes will create the biggest improvement.

Best for: direction, prioritizing, furniture scale, layout, color, and next steps.

02

Room Edit & Curation

Refine an existing room using what you already own, then source the pieces, textiles, lighting, art, and accessories needed to finish it.

Best for: rooms that are almost there but still feel unresolved.

03

McCarthy Living Furniture

Select a signature piece or develop a custom-scaled option when the room calls for something more specific.

Best for: consoles, tables, storage, statement pieces, and special finishes.

04

Finishing & Installation

The final layer—placement, styling, accessories, textiles, tabletop, and details—so the room feels fully considered.

Best for: the final day when everything needs to come together.

What You Walk Away With

Clarity, a plan, and a room that feels like you.

The goal is not to overwhelm you with endless options. It is to make decisions easier, identify the few things that matter most, and create a finished look that feels elevated but still personal.

Behind the Edit

A point of view,
put into practice.

Every room and every piece begins with the same question: what will make this feel considered, personal, and complete?

The edit is where the room gets interesting.

More is not automatically better. A strong room often gets better when one chair moves, one lamp changes scale, one piece of art is rehung, or one generic piece of furniture is replaced with something that has character.

The same discipline applies to product design. Every McCarthy Living piece should earn its place through proportion, usefulness, material, finish, and a detail worth noticing.

Keep what works.

Good rooms do not need to be erased to be improved.

Fix proportion first.

Scale and placement affect a room before color or accessories do.

Add one memorable thing.

Personality usually comes from a few strong decisions, not twenty average ones.

Create What Fits

When the right piece does not exist, make it.

McCarthy Living custom furniture starts with the room—not a catalog. Scale, function, finish, and personality are considered together so the piece feels as if it always belonged there.

The Process

Purpose first. Personality next.

We begin with what the room needs the piece to do: hold a television, anchor an entry, sit behind a sofa, store serving pieces, or solve an awkward dimension. Then we give it a silhouette and finish that feel distinctly McCarthy Living.

Scale

Built around the actual room.

Finish

Color, lacquer, raffia, brass, wood, and texture.

Detail

Trellis, edge profile, hardware, gallery rails, and proportion.

Coming Soon

The next pieces, arriving shortly.

A considered collection of furniture and entertaining pieces designed with signature proportions, fresh finishes, and details meant to be noticed.

Stacy McCarthy
Meet Stacy

A practiced eye for what makes a room feel finished.

Stacy created McCarthy Living around the part of home design she loves most: recognizing the piece, color, proportion, or finishing detail that changes the way the entire room feels.

Her background in communications and storytelling informs the brand as much as her eye for interiors. She approaches a room the same way she approaches a story—decide what matters, remove what distracts, and make the strongest idea impossible to miss.

The result is a point of view that feels tailored but not stiff, polished but not precious, and always grounded in how people actually live.

McCarthy Living is based in Las Colinas and serves Dallas–Fort Worth and select projects beyond.
